Join Andy for this workshop to learn all the basics of meditation and how to practice at home. Learn how to watch the rivers of emotion flow through you without getting swept away in them. This class is for beginners and is an introduction on how to meditate to find a sense of peace and calmness in your life.
During this workshop we will learn 5 ways to meditate, how to use meditation props, and how to choose meditation music. We will explore the concept of awareness, practice breathing techniques to regulate the nervous system, and learn how brain frequencies affect our experiences. The last hour will be devoted to the practice of meditation through the guidance of Andy.  Please bring a notebook and any props you would like to use during the session.
